Dr. Bolden (US)
Michael L. Bolden, DDS, completed his residency in dentistry at Harlem Hospital Center in 1988, and his Postdoctoral program in Periodontics at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in 1990. He is presently Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontics at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine and remains Chief of Periodontics at Harlem Hospital Center. He maintains a private Periodontics and Implants practice in Harlem and Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. He is very active with the National Dental Association, having held numerous positions at both the national level and is President of the local chapter in New York. He has also served as President of the prestigious Columbia University Periodontal Alumni and is presently a Trustee. Dr. Bolden is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (dental honor society), Upsilon Upsilon chapter. He is also an active lecturer and is a consultant to the legal profession on dental issues.
Dr. Bolden is married to Dr. Fran Cook-Bolden, a Dermatologist, and has three children, Natalie, Michael Jr. and Alfred. They are residents of Yorktown, NY and are members of First Presbyterian Church of Mount Vernon, where Dr. Bolden is an Elder.
